The Orquesta Experimental de Instrumentos Nativos (OEIN) is a Bolivian chamber ensemble compromised of seven musicians who perform contemporary classical and traditional music on Andean instruments. Repertoire for this concert will include For 1, 2 or 3 People (1964) by Christian Wolff (United States, 1934), Tronco Bronco (2013-2016) by Daniel Leguizamón (Colombia, 1979), Paisaje(s) Al Interior (2020) by Jorge Monroy, magma V (1977) by Graciela Paraskevaídis (Argentine/Uruguay, 1940-2017).

As part of their visit to Montreal, other activities involving OEIN will include:

-August 12, 2023: OEIN will participate in a parade as part of the Fête de L’Amitié Nuestroamericana. The parade will start at 16h in downtown Montreal at Place du Canada and end 45 to 60 minutes later at the Place des Festivals. Full info at https://defiledelamitie.ca/
